We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Officer to join our team.

Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location: Mauritius

Role Purpose
The Logistics Officer will support the day-to-day coordination of export logistics activities, ensuring timely shipment processing, accurate documentation, effective stakeholder communication, and compliance with international trade and company procedures..

Key Responsibilities

 Coordinate and manage shipping line bookings, ensuring timely scheduling and adherence to customer requirements.
 Create and prepare shipping documents as required and in compliance with international trade regulations.
 Book invoices accurately and efficiently into the company’s system, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and documented correctly.
 Liaise with various stakeholders to resolve any issues or delays.
 Assist in the preparation of any other relevant documentation export shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
 Collaborate with the Belgium team and other departments to optimize logistics processes, streamline operations, and improve efficiency.
 Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed, demonstrating teamwork and cooperation in achieving departmental objectives.

Profile & Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
 Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, with specific experience supporting shipping line bookings and documentation.
 Proficiency in Cargowise or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, with the ability to input and retrieve data efficiently.
 Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping documentation requirements.
 Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
 Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
 Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
