Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Ship Supply & Operations Coordinator to support procurement, supplier coordination, inventory management, and operational activities within a fast-paced supply environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating purchase requirements, liaising with suppliers, ensuring timely availability of products, and supporting the smooth execution of daily operations. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service quality.

Key Responsibilities

– Coordinate incoming requests and ensure timely processing of requirements in line with operational needs.
– Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations, negotiate favourable terms, and ensure reliable supply arrangements.
– Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
– Monitor order progress, follow up on deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
– Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods to ensure conformity with specifications and required standards.
– Assist with order preparation, consolidation, and coordination prior to dispatch.
– Maintain accurate records relating to procurement, deliveries, and operational activities.
– Support invoicing processes following completion of deliveries and services.
– Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

– Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Previous experience in procurement, logistics, operations coordination, or a similar environment will be an advantage.
– Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
– Good attention to detail with strong administrative and follow-up skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with procurement or inventory systems.
