Job Description

A leading financial market institution is seeking a dynamic and motivated graduate to join its team for a full-time permanent and pensionable position.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to financial markets, market development initiatives, and financial communications, while supporting both analytical and marketing-related activities within the organisation.

The successful candidate should have recently completed a university degree in commerce, accounting, finance, marketing or a related discipline, and/or be currently enrolled in ACCA or another relevant professional qualification. The role is well suited for individuals interested in building a career at the intersection of financial markets, research, digital communication and financial education.

The position provides an excellent platform for developing expertise in capital markets, financial analysis, digital engagement and financial content development, while contributing to initiatives that promote market participation and investor awareness.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will contribute to both financial analysis and market outreach activities, including but not limited to:

Financial Markets & Analytical Support

• Conduct research and assist with analysis on equity and debt markets, financial products and market developments.
• Support the preparation of market reports, presentations and analytical briefs relating to financial market activity.
• Assist in the analysis of financial statements, listed companies and investment portfolios.
• Monitor global and regional economic trends and financial market developments that may impact the financial ecosystem.
• Contribute to projects exploring the application of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain in financial markets.
• Assist with internal research initiatives and market intelligence activities.

Marketing, Communications & Digital Engagement

• Support the design and implementation of digital marketing campaigns aimed at promoting financial market initiatives and investor engagement.
• Assist in the creation of financial content including articles, newsletters, social media posts, short videos and educational materials.
• Contribute to the development of digital communication strategies and online engagement initiatives.
• Help manage and update online platforms and social media channels to enhance the organisation’s visibility and outreach.
• Support the preparation of presentations, promotional materials and communication briefs for market-related initiatives.

Events, Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement

• Assist in the planning and organisation of events, seminars, webinars and educational programmes related to financial markets.
• Provide support in stakeholder engagement initiatives, including interactions with market participants, investors and institutional partners.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at promoting financial literacy and awareness of capital markets.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a graduate who:

• Is comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Has a solid interest in financial markets, investment analysis and economic developments.
• Possesses foundational knowledge of financial statement analysis and portfolio management concepts.
• Shows interest in financial innovation, digital finance and emerging technologies.
• Has the ability to translate financial information into clear and engaging content for different audiences.
• Demonstrates strong IT literacy and familiarity with digital tools including Microsoft Office and content creation platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite or similar tools).
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Possesses strong presentation, organisational and interpersonal skills, particularly in the context of event support and stakeholder engagement.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s academic qualifications, academic performance and demonstrated aptitude for learning within the financial ecosystem. The position also offers valuable professional development opportunities and exposure to the financial markets environment.
