Job Description

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and prepare monthly management accounts, consolidate reports, and analyse profit & loss and balance sheets.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records, daily data capture, and reconciliations.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls including production costing, stock controls, and IFRS compliance.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, FOREX planning, and timely payment of bills.
• Oversee invoice processing, VAT returns, statutory accounts, and compliance with corporate rules.
• Optimise financial information systems (SAGE)
• Coordinate IT-related activities including hardware/software infrastructure, security, backups, and electronic archiving systems.
• Conduct financial project analysis, modelling, ROI, and profitability assessments to support strategic decisions.
• Supervise and mentor finance staff, enforce discipline, and support training and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) procedures.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
• Higher School Certificate with Accounting as a principal subject.
• Degree in Accounting & Finance and fully qualified accountant status.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong IT skills with knowledge in ERP Systems (Sage will be a definite advantage) and office tools
• Good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
