Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the shared finance service center for the business units
- Manage the finance Business Process Outsourcing team for the international entities
- Deliver financial accounts to the Reporting and Consolidation Team timely on a monthly basis
- Collaborate with the relevant people to prepare the budgets and business plans
- Manage the annual audits locally & liaise with the international auditors to ensure a seamless process
- Ensure efficient management of cash flow of the entities, in collaboration with the Treasury team
- Ensure that activities are in compliance with tax requirements, company code of conduct, regulations and policies
- Support & partner with the Chief Finance & Investment Officer & Business Units Heads
- Lead, coach and develop finance and admin team effectively
- Digitalise processes to improve productivity
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant from a recognised body (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in the accounting and finance sector
- Prior international exposure and/or experience in the logistics sector would be an advantage
- Computer literate and versatile with accounting package
- Good planning and organising skills
- Business acumen as well as analytical and decision making skills
- Sound Information monitoring ability
- Strong leadership ability and time management skills
