We are currently looking for a reliable and qualified Accountant who has a knack for figures to join our team of professionals. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the right candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Know-how
Accounting
• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare group and separate financial statements on a timely and accurate manner and ensure compliance with IFRS.
• Prepare budget forecasts.
• Close monitoring of daily cash flow.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Prepare consolidation of the group’s accounts.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly summaries for the consolidation of group accounts.
• Prepare periodic reports to review variances against budget.
• Plan and coordinate the preparation of annual capital and operating budgets.
• Follow up of inventories.
• Ensure that accounting documents are in accordance with accounting standards and procedures.

Audit Compliance and Statutory activities
• Liaise with auditors.
• Prepare audit file and schedules for auditors.
• Ensure audit and tax queries are attended efficiently.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with financial and tax authorities.

Team Management
• Manage and coordinate activities of the accounts department.
• Provide guidance to other team members whenever required.

Knowledge:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA qualified
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
