Job Responsibilities

• Updating financial records through our accounting software
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI’s
• Issue and prepare invoices as and when needed.
• Update financial data in a timely manner.
• Ensure that information is accurate.
• Preparation of VAT, TDS, APS, and other statutory returns as and when required.
• Update cash book and finalise bank reconciliation.
• Resolve account payable and account receivable issues.
• Review balance sheet and ensure all control accounts tally.
• Complete end of month procedures.
• Ensure compliance with our company’s guidelines and procedures.
• Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts for senior management.
• As needed, assist with other accounting duties
• Assisting with month-end reporting and preparing management accounts

Preferred Skills

o Proficiency with accounting principles and financial reporting
o Experience with accounting software like Sage will be an advantage.
o Analytical skills

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or ACCA level 2
o Minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in accounting
o Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel/PowerPoint and Word) and Accounting Software (Sage will be a plus)
o Strong analytical skills and attention to details
o Experience in auditing will be an advantage.
