Job Description
The Head of Marketing oversees the marketing team and identifies new clients as well as analyses the competitor trends. They are also in charge of developing marketing strategies to increase the company’s visibility and market presence and making sure that the development of the products and services is in line with market trends.
Tasks:
• Develop good rapport with the marketing team to create a cohesive and creative work environment.
• Guide and motivate subordinates for marketing related tasks.
• Coordinate and oversee the activities within the team to ensure they are all going in the same direction.
• Analyse competitor trends and set up long term brand growth strategies.
• Study exhibition event results and market trends to determine improvements.
• Come up with creative ways to reach customers.
• Be up to date with current digital marketing trends including social media platforms and AI Design tools.
• Network with third parties including the media, ad agencies and essential clients to identify marketing needs.
• Present new and creative ideas to the designated reporting line on influencing consumer buying.
• Organise and manage the marketing calendar within the team.
• Oversee the marketing expenditures and budget.
• Conduct opinion surveys or need assessments in the market.
• Perform any other cognate duties as assigned by Management.
Skill
• Proficiency in AI Design tools such as Canva.
• Ability to plan strategically and analyse market trends.
• Capable of leading and motivating team during promotional events.
• Ability to analyse complicated market data and match products to changing consumer needs.
• Clear verbal and written skills when dealing with VIP clients.
• Strong critical thinking to assess campaign effectiveness and resolve challenging brand issues.
Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
• Minimum 5-years of experience in similar role
