Job Description
• Greeting customers as they enter the restaurant
• Assisting customers with menu selections and answering any questions about the menu items.
• Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handling cash, credit/debit card transactions, and sometimes mobile payments
• Ensuring orders into the point- of- sale (POS)system
• Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and timely
• Balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
• Handling customer complaints or concerns promptly and politely
• Providing information about promotions, specials, or loyalty programs
• Keeping the cashier area clean and organized
• Restocking items such as napkins etc.
• Assisting with cleaning
• Help kitchen staff during busy times and as and when required
