Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit a passionate Accounts Trainee to assist the Receivables department in the maintenance, reporting and management of the company’s receivables and replacing cashier when required.
Main Responsibilities
• Send Statement of Account & other related reports regularly to debtors.
• Maintain proper filing of documents and remittance advices.
• Actively participate in debtors’ recovery and related matters.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Contribute to team’s effort to ensure that the Accounts Receivable module is closed on the first working day of each month.
• Posting journal entries.
• Allocation of debtors’ account promptly
• Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately at cashier.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Any other cognate duties as and when required.
Candidate Profile
• HSC with at least one year experience in accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attentive to details
• Well versed with Microsoft Office with sound knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent communication [written & spoken] in French and English
• Good time management and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in autonomy
• Treat confidential files with complete discretion
• Flexible and creative
