Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. He/she will ensure the accuracy of financial documents, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and the overall financial health of the organization.
Tasks
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Prepare budget forecasts.
- Publish financial statements in a timely manner.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and bank.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Prepare and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
- Assist Auditors for financial transactions and documents.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 4 years’ experience in the field.
- A degree in Management and finance.
- ACCA qualified
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
