Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
• Assist in conducting and executing support services such as installation, maintenance, repairs and demonstration of related products and equipment.
• He/She shall lead a team of Technical Officer and supervise execution of works on sites. He/She shall attend site meetings.
• He/She shall also be responsible for providing technical support and back-up to the sales team.
• The job incumbent may be required to work on an on-call basis after working hours. He/She shall maintain a high level of grooming and dress code whilst on duty.

LIST OF DUTIES
– Ensures that planning and organisation are done in an efficient way by closely monitoring the work of Service Advisors, Spare Parts Advisors administrative staff and technical team.
– Ensures that the maintenance operations are as per standards and to manufacturers’ recommendations.
– Provide input for budget/capex estimates for the Maintenance Department.
– Ensures that job cards are opened/closed in a timely manner and regularly.
– Ensures submission of comprehensive quotations to clients and follow up as and when required.
– Monitors the client requests/complaints and ensures that latter are attended in a timely manner.
– Holds meeting as and when required and communicates on a regular basis about the status of the maintenance department.
– Ensures that sub-contractors comply as per contract agreement as and when required.
– Liaises with external suppliers and report any manufacturer’s defects on equipment.
– Implements action plan to minimise reworks.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
– A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or in any related fields
– A minimum of 2 years in a Management position in a similar business environment
