Job Description

A dynamic and growing company is actively looking for a Treasury Lead to oversee and manage its treasury function. This role involves managing liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk to optimize business performance.

Responsibilities:
Treasury Operations – Oversee treasury processes, ensuring secure and accurate transactions while managing banking activities such as wire transfers, check processing, and electronic payments.
Cash Forecasting – Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Cash Positioning – Monitor and manage bank accounts, short-term investments, and liquidity instruments to optimize cash balances.
Bank Relationships – Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, supporting senior leadership in negotiations with banking partners.
Bank Account Management – Oversee the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Foreign Exchange & Interest Rate Risk – Monitor exposure to currency fluctuations and implement hedging strategies while assessing and mitigating interest rate risks.
Investment & Debt Management – Manage short-term investment portfolios, evaluate financing options, and ensure compliance with debt agreements.
Bank Reconciliations & Issue Resolution – Ensure timely bank reconciliations and address discrepancies in banking transactions with internal and external stakeholders.
Operational & ERP Systems – Support deliverables by understanding relevant operational and financial systems.
Process Improvement & Compliance – Identify opportunities for automation and enhanced efficiency while implementing controls to safeguard liquid assets.
Risk Assessment – Identify and report on financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and market risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Communicate treasury-related policies and strategies effectively to support financial goals.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
Good communication skills in both English and French.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
Experience with ERP or accounting software.
